Hey buddy, really liked the album. Your production is very eclectic. Highlights for me included "Fool's Gold", "Organized Mess" and "Taking Time" but the entire album is interesting and varied, great stuff! I liked the concept album vibe, the album flowed together beautifully. You've got a lot of fantastic ideas. I think you've made great strides as an emcee, and after this album I think you really do have the potential to make it, so to speak... or at least gain some type of underground following.

looking forward to it buddy!

This is my profile. It's neat for keeping track of music and reading up on different albums. There's also a forum.

^How did he play in college? I watched the Laker game last week and he got into a scruffle with Derek Fisher over nothing (Derek fisher, president of the player's association of all people!) I really like Deron.

Hey Tim!
I've kinda been busy with school, it's my senior year so i've been pretty busy (or should be busy- been procrastinating and staying up to make up the work..) Just realized that it's 2008, I graduate later this year! Definitely not mentally ready at all! :fencing:
I think we should start recruiting people back into this place, I think they've all drifted off like I did :wiggle:

I was watching the Lakers-Celtics, horrible game for the Lakers but overall pretty entertaining. The short shorts were interesting, to say the least. I was watching the telecast and pretty much everyone at Staples was having a grand time laughing their arses off at Kobe, Bynum and co in extra small shorts (basically, boxers disguised as NBA shorts!) I'd say the moment they all took off their warmups was the most entertaining minunte of the night, everyone was in hysterics! :paperbag: :lolsign:

here's to a new year! :wickedwisdom:

So out is the GBA cartridge and they're adding more media storage? I don't know how much they can add to such a thin little piece of hardware, I might just be happy with a DS lite and a laptop or something.

So looking back, I haven't really indulged in many 2007 albums. I've mostly been looking for old releases.
Top 5 2007
- August Rush soundtrack : loved the movie, love the soundtrack
- Umphrey's McGee - The Bottom Half : love their sound
- Ween - La Cucaracha : anything from Ween is usually good
- Dora Flood - We Live Now : shoegazing tunes!
- Speechless - Time Out of Mind : prog for 2007

^that's when you rely on music blogs. Blogsearch is an excellent tool, there are many bloggers who post new and out of print albums. I use rateyourmusic.com to find about about new and old material as well, very knowledgable user base. Whenever I use soley "good reviews" to check out albums, they're usually the acclaimed classics like J&MC's Psychocandy, or My Bloody Valentine's Loveless, or Nas' Illmatic, things that would probably appeal to me.

I watched it in Imax on Christmas day, liked it overall. IMax really made a difference I suppose, a few scenes scared the bejesus out of me because the creatures seemed to jump out of nowhere! I liked how the butterfly thing his daughter did related back to the ending and him following God's signs. I think Will added a nice comedic touch to his character (loved the mannequin scenes!) and overall the movie was enjoyable. I give it a 7/8.

All the way through for me! I don't have a good stereo system so I use my Sony V6's, great closed headphones. I would only buy a CD if I've downloaded it and liked it, or if it's gotten good reviews and I'm interested. So therefore I've had no problems sitting through an album. When I downloaded I still try to listen to it start to finish.
