In the most recent issue of Premiere Magazine, they have their annual Power List and Will checks in at #14. He was ranked #18 last year. He is the second highest actor on the list. Who's ahead of him? You guessed it - Tom Cruise at #12. They are the two most powerful actors in Hollywood.

Congrats to Will!

Top Dawg, would it be possible to get a list of the top 20? Is there a list online?

Most of the top twenty are studio presidents and highpower agents. Spielberg and couple other directors are in there also.

How could Will be ranked higher than last year if he didn't release a movie during that time? Well on that note I gotta hand it to you Max you're definately right, what's the point for Will to rap anymore right? I honestly can't complain now if Will decides not to rap anymore 'cause it seems like the so called hip-hop headsforgot about him already even though he released his best album last year. Will wants to do something where he gets a lot of love for, the hip-hopcommunity turned its back on him but it seems like he could do no wrong as an actor. It's easier for somebody like Ice Cube or LL to say that they don't wanna act anymore and do more music 'cause the hip-hop community embraces them and people wouldn't laugh at you if you put them on yourtop 10 all time rapper lists and they're not as big in Hollywood since they ain't mentioned here in Premiere magazine like Will who's vice versa. He wouldn't be caught dead being mentioned as an all time rapper but he's considered an all time actor already even though he rapped longer. So I can't be mad at him for doing more movies than music 'cause it seems like people in the hip-hop community, mostly the media and fansseem to throw the middle finger at him all the time whenever he does something with music but he don't have to deal with much hate doing movies.

It probably wouldn't change much even if he did another album with Jazzy 'cause the hip-hop community called him popcorn then too, he catches as much hate as MC Hammer does. The problem is that most hip-hop fans are sheep, if the media calls somebody wack, they go along with it but the truth is these rappers today wouldn't be having success if it wasn't for cats like them. It's frustrating that a lot of those who put their dues in don't get the full recognition they deserve, but it seems with movie fans, it don't matter about how hard or soft you are, as long as your movie's hot, that's all that matters, people look at image for hip-hop more than anything, none of these pop rappers would have deals if they didn't have an image but their albums are wack, they only got a cartoon thugged image, Will don't have a fake image, he just drops quality albums, it don't matter anymore though sadly. It's like with all that hate he gotten as a rapperyou figure he'd thrown in the towel already and gave up rapping 15 years agobut it's obvious that he got more love for the game than so called hip-hop heads do, he could release 100 albums it seems and he still won't get the recognition as a rapper while Hollywood has embraced him, you can't say that Will turned his back on the hip-hop community for doing more movies than albums, it's really the opposite. The hip-hop community got no love for Will even though he's got love for hip-hop, it's heartbreaking but true and it'll probably never change, if more of them went out and supported "Lost and Found" and listed him as one of the top mcs ever then maybe we'd see him decide to do music as much as movies, and we'd see these pop rappers being motivated by his message to put more messages in their music but the game is about as messed up as it was before the album came out. He didn't impact with that album, there's no exuse for why it wasn't at least nominated for a Grammy award for best rap album this year, at least he has something to fall back on with his Hollywood career unlike a lot of his peers that got forgotten and trashed on like MC Hammer
