Well Will Smith's album is starting to be sold in some places and what not, even though it officially comes out 3/29. I picked it up and, have to admit, some of it is really good. After his last album, I was expecting the same watered down crap, but tracks like Mr. Niceguy and Mr. Holy Roller are awesome for their honesty and the entire album has a catchy beat to it. Anyone who's heard me DJ will know that I usually don't like music like this, but, what can I say? I'm liking it, a lot.

RickieMar 24 2005, 00:23

I'll be getting it just to hear the Mr Nice Guy track, thanks for the info Bangbang

HummerT30Mar 24 2005, 00:25

Thanks for the info!

dyl4nMar 24 2005, 00:26

weird, "Lost and Found" is the name of Mudvaynes new album too

ZZOOzzooMar 24 2005, 00:31

/me waits for some people to come and bash "mainstream" hip-hop artists..

Anyway... I haven't listened to the song yet.

Hopefully MSN Music has its music video.

DrunkenMasterMar 24 2005, 00:33

Is it still full of his sefl-fulfilling egotistical lyrics?

His first albums were great. But he's too full of himself now.

he's a little bit on himself still, but no where near as much anymore. I honestly was surprised. This isn't just a party track cd. Sure, there are a few dance tracks, but it's not the whole album.

RickieMar 24 2005, 00:45

Well, the Mr. Niceguy track wasn't as good as i expected, going to listen to the rest now

To me hes not mainstream, i grew up to his music. And i always liked his style.

Thanks for the heads up banbang. I'll be checking this out.

Thanks. I'll check it out then. Like ripgut, I listened to all his albums growing up.

Some of his songs were pretty funny.

Is Jazz back as DJ. Without him the album won't have the same "feel". That guy has talent.

bangbang023Mar 24 2005, 01:51

I believe he is yeah.

ripgutMar 24 2005, 01:52

yea Dj Jazzy Jeff is one of the best

KeRMar 24 2005, 02:05

I like he CD too...makes me want to go out and party

bprevost21Mar 24 2005, 02:06

I just listened to the album.. and I'm VERY suprised. This is a LOT better than his last few albums. Props to him for keeping with it all, when he really doesn't need to considering all the movies he makes.

Mystical112Mar 24 2005, 02:11

mr. nice guy is suppose to b a reply to eminem isnt it?

vipMar 24 2005, 02:13

amnesia_keiMar 24 2005, 02:37

anyone know where you can get his album on the UK to order online?

Most places only mention the 28th, but I'd love to get it asap.

yeah but it's only brief. It's not as hard fought as some sources would have you believe. It's more like him confronting all the people, in general, who have gone after him.

ValerusMar 25 2005, 02:35

I don't think I can like Will Smith singing any more.

IvandMar 25 2005, 03:54

You know what I wasn't expecting what I've heard from the album. I've got it and it is good!

He's got a more genuine rap flavour in there now, not diong it for the kiddies, although like some people have already said there still are some party tracks on there which are good.

Tell Me Why featuring Mary J Blige has got to be my fave off the album, but a lot of the tracks on it I love, definately developped as a lyricist, and in style.

I'd recommend it

nellydoomMar 30 2005, 17:56

hmmm its ok it was a bit of a let down cos of the em "diss" but still it has some nice tunesw on it

RazorwingMar 30 2005, 19:27

I'll check it out.

DomZApr 1 2005, 21:01

I didn't like it at all. I was really disappointed. His older **** had a more "jazzy" and "funky" feel to it which I liked. Now it just sounds like 50 cent which I dont like. Oh well.

AxelApr 2 2005, 22:07

This album's better than 50's. Well done Mr. Smith
