Ale
TV One’s “Love That Girl” isn’t the second coming of “The Cosby Show,” “Living Single,” “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” or “Martin,” but you couldn’t help but feel a hint of 90s sitcom nostalgia when Tatyana Ali opened her apartment door to see a warm (if sleazy) looking Uncle Gerald in the doorway, played the man who brought us Sheneneh Jenkins, Roscoe, and Dragonfly Jones: Martin Lawrence. Part one of the finale for “Love That Girl” aired on Monday, with Martin Lawrence’s first appearance coming at the midway point of the show. Wearing a pinstripe suit with a pink hat and matching shoes, Lawrence fully embodied Uncle Gerald, an annoying houseguest who quickly overstays his welcome at Tyana’s home. Martin will continue his guest starring stint on “Love That Girl” next Monday on part two of the finale. Lawrence also serves as an executive producer of the show.http://www.examiner.com/african-american-entertainment-in-national/love-that-girl-finale-brings-martin-lawrence-back-to-his-sitcom-roots
