Oh ooohhh. This doesn't look good. And this guy seems very credible.

Holy sh*t, I just saw it. I work for a theater and have access to Sony's Exhibitor Relations website.

All I can say is WTF? It makes it look like a comedy. This may actually be bad. I thought this was supposed to be a dark drama.

I just saw the trailer and yes it is being marketed as a comedy. It doesn't even look like a dark comedy. It looks like a straight up corny comedy. Even the special effects look pretty cheesy..

you would think they'd debut it with I Am Legend..what a missed opportunity..oh well looking forward to this..peter berg is a great director

Actually, it's smart not to debut a big film with a big name actor with a big film with that same big name actor. It tends to turn people off... it's basically overexposure. Give people some time to breathe before you hit them with your next movie, you know.

Preview the Hancock Poster!

I am absolutely geeked on Hancock. Having a non-caring superhero who isn't good at what he does sounds absolutely genius in a moviegoing market filled with comicbook adaptations. There is a ton of fun to be had here, and Hancock looks to do for comicbooks what Mr. and Mrs. Smith did for spy movies.

Hancock Poster Preview

The good people at IMPAwards have gotten a low-quality preview of the Hancock poster. Spoofing the Spider-Man posters, I love how Columbia Pictures felt the reflection of the city was necessary on Hancock's oversized glasses too.

Hancock opens to theatres on July 2nd, 2008.

A surprise announcement at the conference, Don Eklund from Sony Pictures revealed that Sony Pictures will make available for download via BD-Live extra content. The example shown was a video from actor Will Smith regarding his film 'Hancock' with a sneak peak of the film specifically for CES. He did mention that he is a fan of Blu-ray.

Well... Blu-Ray sales just went up. I personally like HD-DVD, but Holographic Disks are going to be the thing of the future in just a few short years.

Nice to see Will doing these extra features though.

How do we see the "sneak peak" of the film?
