You gotta Love IT! Everybody knows I am a big Will Smith fan, from the early days of “Just Rockin’” to the movie career. Well, I am hearing that Will Smith is now in the studio and working on a new album. You might recall his last CD, Lost and Found, which featured production by Jazzy Jeff, DJ Twinz, Kwamé "K1 Mil" and even everybody’s homey Polow Da Don. I don’t know what Will is doing this time, but I heard he financed the last CD himself and make a lotta money since it broke Gold or came really close.
I am also big on the DJ rapper combo so Jazzy Jeff gets a huge nod. Jeff might be the best DJ ever. Anyway, check out a rare performance where Jeff and Will “Rock Right Now.”

I think if he wants really to get an oscar, he has to play a villain sooner or later. Look at Denzel, he did great movies through his careers, but he got an oscar for Training Day instead of Malcolm X. Another one is Forest Whitaker with Last King of Scotland, he played an dictator...

Comparision or not, he should have kept Will's name out of it when he is dissing another person on the track. That line is not a clear statement, so there is a lot of space for speculation!

Bad Boys 3 would be really dope and I'm sure that a lot of fans would love to see it. But please not a sequeal to MIB cause the last one was whack. I think Will should a little balance it out with Drama's and Action Comedy type of movies!

Gangsta Rap doesn't reflect reality as they pretend to do it. They act like Tony Montana and glorify everything black on black crime, drugs, etc. So we can say that Dre did great "acting" on Chronic and Chronic 2001. :lolsign:

If this is true, I have lost all credibility for Dr. Dre. If he has something against him he should have adressed it directly towards Will. Thats some bitch ass move from him. I just wish that Will one day drops something like ether for his critics!

Just because you come from a ghetto, you don't have be automatically a thug or gangsta! He is the best rapper from the westside and no doubt a living legend. I just think that if "keep it real" has some credibility in this rap game, it is very unrealistic that a 38-year old family man pretends to be Gangsta and singing why we thugs. Also he disses people like Oprah Winfrey, who take responsibility for their audience, when he doesn't care.
P.S. Cypress Hill ethered him on Ice Cube Killa, but overall careerwise Ice Cube>Cypress Hill.

Jay-Z landed at number seven on the Forbes ”Celebrity 100,” the magazine announced yesterday.
The rapper raked in $82 million last year in a number of deals, including inking a deal with Live Nation to release his future albums and to partner with the Brooklyn lyricist for touring.
Will Smith was the only other rapper to crack the top 25. The former Fresh Prince pulled in $80 million last year. Jay’s new wife, Beyonce, along with Justin Timberlake, faired well, too, landing at numbers four and 12, respectively.
The list was compiled by a combination of income earnings, Web mentions, press mentions, and TV mentions. Oprah Winfrey landed at number one on the list.
Kanye West and 50 Cent, who engaged in a SoundScan showdown last year ranked just out of reach of the top 25 behind baseball superstar Alex Rodriguez and comedian Jerry Seinfeld.
Fif came in at number 26, while West was number 27. Last year the Queens rapper landed at number 32. ‘Ye failed to make the list in 2007.
The G-Unit CEO pulled in a healthy amount of dollars through all his various ventures, with $150 million. West brought home $30 million, but along with Hov, the Chicago rapper landed in the top 10 list for Web mentions to secure his ranking.
