  1. it is very different, but i dont know if i would call it better. it is a good album though. i love Pause and The Ave.
  2. how did i leave out porn???!!! but actually u can get away with that most of the time if u look old enough, trust me i know lol
  3. i might be getting one in the near future. i am getting paid soon and i am gonna open a bank account where i can get a debit card, so probably within the next 2 months if i can find room to spend $20 on it i will.
  4. now thats what im talkin about... forgot about Thuggish Ruggish Bone, that beat is sick
  5. two beats im feelin that are good simple 90's beats you can flow over The Pharcyde - I'm That Type of N**** The Pharcyde - Passing Me By
  6. yeah i agree that hip-hop doesnt have to do with kids who are less fortunate in that they live in the projects or have parents that dont love them. but i think tim's point was that hip-hop can be negative towards a kid and can have a negative meaning toward them, which i agree with.
  7. you're considered an adult. off the top of my head, 2 things that are different are you can work full time without any restrictions and you dont have a "provisional" drivers liscense anymore. there are lots of other small things, nothing big tho. but its just a milestone in that you're considered an adult now.
  8. how does DMC sound wierd? back in the day he sounded fine until he started losing his voice in like 2000 or so.
  9. thats sick, thanx 4 sharin tim
  10. damn 18... how does it feel to be an adult? hope it was a fun one, my 18th birthday is comin up soon and im physched about it
  11. myabe its just my opinion and the type of music i listen to, but IMO those beats suck. whatever happened to a classic 90's beat that you can actually flow over. could u imagine tim spitting his intelligent verses over lean wit it, rock wit it? they just dont go together if you ask me.
  12. the main reason is no money. i JUST got a job but i havent gotten paid yet and i have a ton of things that i owe. car insurance, car registration fees, and a smog check for my car. in addition, with the start of the school year i have to purchase senior pictures and a yearbook which costs a lot more than u think. then after i get that paid off, theres some albums i want to check out, like DMX's new one. so there's no money floating around for me right now. also, i dont have paypal but my dad does and if i asked him to get this shirt he would scowl at me and ask me why im wasting my money on something like this when there are other things i need to take care of first. also, my dad doesnt have money in his paypal account and would have to transfer it from his bank, which would probably be a pain in the butt for him to do since hes really busy. so yeah, thats pretty much why hahaha.
  13. welcome - stick around it'll be worth it. nice to have you aboard. how long ago did u discover JJFP?
  14. i would call Masta Ace underground. back in '93 he was dissin gangsta rap and keepin his raps clean, and nowadays his beats and sound in general sound real underground and he has no-name producers and no-name guest appearances. but dont underestimate him, i think his work is dope.
  15. i dont think you would like it Lerkot. his hit single "Lord Give Me A Sign" is a song all about God and how he needs him. the general DMX style is real ruff, rugged - probably what you would call gangsta. if you think Ice Cube and Eazy-E are/were wacK (VH1 hip hop honors thread) then you probably wouldnt like this. but if you can download it somehow, do so and check it out cuz it cant hurt. i will be picking this album up sometime in the near future after i get my next paycheck.
  16. looks good, but, a collabo with Lil Wayne??? :willvspaparazzi:
  17. great track. the lyrics were deep, loved it.
  18. Happy 20th Birthday! Enjoy it man!
  19. 3cookies who was outside of the buffet serving food to the homeless. Lerkot, who can easily pass as a homeless person, went up to 3cookies and...
  20. on his album he will make real names and his own beats for his tracks. but these were only mixtapes, so he's just kinda creating his version of other songs that inspired him.
