  1. I can't remember the last time i was excited for anything Hip-Hop related when it comes 2 award shows. The Grammys used 2 only care about the art of music. They didn't let people vote or let sales effect thing. They only cared that the music got some kind of buzz. That's why they sometimes have album cuts nominated. It seems that things have changed.

Lil' Wayne is not Hip-Hop. The panel rarely has any idea what's Hip-Hop and what's not...what's good and what's bad. Yes, i want good music and good artists nominated. 2 stay sane i just have 2 tell myself "who cares?"

i have to disagree just a little now i am not a huge wayne fan but wayne is hip hop

  2. Who says that?

a lot of people all over the world plus mtv's list of the top mc's in the game when you look at the rsponse to the list everyone everywhere agreed

MTV doesn't know anything about music anymore...and people who only listen 2 commercial rap don't know anything about Hip-Hop. I was just wondering if anyone in the Hip-Hop community who is an official Hip-Hop head actually likes, respect, tolerates, and doesn't have the desire 2 kill him actually likes him.

to each his own i guess but i have a hard time believing you when you saythe only people who listen to commercial rap don't know anything about hip hop since wayne isn't for a fact commercial note i am not a big fan and the hip hop community does love him

  3. gangsta rap hasn't and will never go anywhere i disagree with aj gangsta rap is here to stay and has been around for a while but i agree with the last post dre has never said anything bad about will but everyone attacks him which makes the attackers no better then dre if you ain't got nothin nice to say about someone you should say nothing at all

  4. Just because you come from a ghetto, you don't have be automatically a thug or gangsta! He is the best rapper from the westside and no doubt a living legend. I just think that if "keep it real" has some credibility in this rap game, it is very unrealistic that a 38-year old family man pretends to be Gangsta and singing why we thugs. Also he disses people like Oprah Winfrey, who take responsibility for their audience, when he doesn't care.

P.S. Cypress Hill ethered him on Ice Cube Killa, but overall careerwise Ice Cube>Cypress Hill.

you obviously weren't listening to why we thugs because the point of the song was people wonder why we thugs when the man supplys the product to be sold on the street and then don't supply no jobs or anything i think you need to listen to the song agin
