i'm not sure how much more over the top part 3 would be.. they already blew up half of Miami, then went to Cuba and started blowing stuff up good over there.. so, now what.. Colombia?
Also, Jazzy Jeff should have a role in the film.. he should also contribute to the soundtrack..

all too bad.. I know he did a show in detroit recently opening for Eminem, I couldn't make it, I'm sure the crowd showed him love.. I want a new album, and I want KRS-One, Chuck D, and other classic school MC's on there..

too bad most labels treat their rap catalogs terribly.. one of the lingering issues is lawyers being skittish about sampling-lawsuits and not wanting to re-release older albums with the upgrades we've mentioned..
Jive falls under the Sony-BMG network, so all their artists need deluxe edition treatments, no doubt..

interesting... "NBC/must see tv" killed the American sitcom?
..i would agree that I don't relate to a lot of contemporary sitcoms.. but I don't know if it's just my own weariness of "sitcommy" humor in general or something else..
more sitcoms need to have more racially diverse casts.. but now reality shows are dominating.. it's going to get worse when Jay Leno's prime time show comes out at 10 pm Eastern... one whole hour of programming gone on NBC..
Alphonso should be on a show like Law & Order, show his dramatic skills..

ah... all of the jive albums should be re-released as deluxe versions.. at the very least on Itunes, if not a limited-run hardcopy.. include 12-inch cuts- b-sides, period remixes, some new remixes..
jeff & will could collaborate on books detailing the recording of their seminal work..

the guys are pursuing a reunion, they're trying to get a reality TV show going, also recording new music and hopefully a tour of some kind..
right now markie dee is an on-air radio personality in Miami, Kool Rock still resides in NYC area..

too bad how martin's star has fallen somewhat since then.. but it rose again with the Wild Hogs films.. I hope that up-front cash doesn't derail the project..
