  1. It's funny that Facebook shut down the group page, but kept the Will Smith Music page up since it was branching off of the jjfp.com FB group. I was thinking maybe you could convert the Will Smith Music page to the new JJFP.com page. The sad thing is that there were hundreds of pictures, some of the very rare, that were in that group.  :(

  2. Here he is talking about it in an interview.

DJ Jazzy Jeff Says Having Coronavirus 'Terrified Me To Death'

DJ Jazzy Jeff performs during the 2017 Hangout Music Festival Kick-Off on May 18, 2017 in Gulf Shores, Ala.

On Tuesday (April 14), DJ Jazzy Jeff opened up on Tamron Hall about his scary experience with COVID-19.

According to the DJ, he came down with the virus after performing at the annual Black Summit of the National Brotherhood of Skiers in Ketchum, Idaho in early March. (Following the event, over 100 attendees reportedly fell ill with COVID-19, bringing the virus home with them.)

"I didn't even realize the severity of it," DJ Jazzy Jeff told host Tamron Hall over video chat. "When my wife and I were at the store, I looked at her and told her I didn’t feel well. And she was asking what was wrong, and I said ‘I feel a little achy, like I’m coming down with something.’ I literally went home and got into bed and almost don’t remember the next 11 days after that..."

"When we finally were able to go to the doctor, they wouldn’t test me for COVID-19," he continued. "They gave me a flu test and then gave me an x-ray on my lungs and said I had pneumonia in both of my lungs, which terrified me to death."

The DJ also called into Will Smith's Snapchat series, Will From Home, to detail his symptoms. "I had a temperature that reached 103. I had the chills. I lost sense of smell. I lost sense of taste," he told his longtime collaborator, before adding that he doesn't see the health crisis ebbing any time soon. "Unfortunately, people think we’re at the end [of the pandemic], and I think we’re really at the beginning."

  3. This was fun! The 80's vibe really took me back. I liked hearing him talk about the transition from an independent label to Jive. I've never heard him address it before. It was also cool to hear him talk about the "Nightmare On My Street" music video before it got pulled.

I really wanna know what that new jack swing song was that was in the middle of the video. I don't recall every hearing it and I love it. I couldn't find it by Googling the lyrics.

  4. Man, maybe I need to see it again. I thought it was alright.  Just alright.  It didn't feel like a Bad Boys movie to me.   I thought some of the dialogue and comedy was weak and forced. The beginning of it felt very rushed.  Dipping into the super natural was just weird. Poorly singing "Bad Boys" is only funny for so long. I don't see a lot of Michael Bay films, but I feel that the Bad Boys movies were where he excelled and I miss his directing style and use of color lighting. I really hate that one bold decision they made.  Since I no longer have expectations for it, maybe I'll enjoy it more if I see it again...but I don't really have a desire to see it in theaters again.

  5. I was just introduced to this song. I'm pretty sure I never heard it before as a kid.  I'm a big fan of Freestyle music and always want to explore, but never seem to have the time. This just dropped in my lap. Strangely, this particular song isn't sung by the actual artist (though he did perform it live). It's actually sung by Elan Lanier.
