1. Yeah, I think it will. They've been advertising it a lot. God Blessa!
2. Very interesting read. Thanks. I'm hoping he puts at least 20 of those songs on his album. God Blessa!
3. Life's too short for that so here I go: *When rappers put out a video for a single and there's so much bleeped out. It's bad enough that they couldn't think of any better worse than cursing or ni**a. But do they even think when they're making these videos "Hmm guys, maybe people can't sing along to this if they don't know what were saying."? *How "money-themed" rap has become. What do they think people want to here? I don't care how much money you have, what your car is sitting on, or how many different ways you can describe your ice. *The producers who made rap a whore. These are the people who make me wish rap didn't become as big as it is today. These are the people who saw the future and made the rappers today. They produce rappers constantly. They do this so much that I will now call their "products" McDonald's Rappers because they are so abundant and so abysmal. *The stupid people. The mainstream. The people who rely on MTV and BET to tell them what's hot and what's not. These are the people who buy the crap, which is why crap continues to be put out so often. If it wasn't for these people, the whoring producers wouldn't have a job. *The conformity that rap now is. When I hear people say they hate rap, they tell me because "It's all about guns, sex, and drugs." I used to say "You just don't know. You need to listen to the underground stuff." But I won't say that now. They aren't going to go out of their way just to accept a genre of music. Point is, I know agree with them. For the most part, I hate rap. Yet, Hip Hop is my favorite music. *When songs are only good for their beats. This ties in with the producers and the stupid people. This is how horrible songs are made hits. If it wasn't for some computer DJ's out there, a lot of songs would be flops. Without these beats people might actually hear the words the rappers are saying. They then might realize they have no talent. *The reliance on "hooks". The hooks and the beats always tie in now. Nobody know the words to the songs they "love" or they say "this is my jam." They just know the hook (or part of it). *When music videos change from being about something to 30 seconds of "Chingy, why yo' ass so chinky?" They interrupt the "flow" (and I use that term lightly) of the song and they just aren't good. That's what I can think of for now. God Blessa!
4. Finally a thread that about Will's music that made me crack a smile. God Blessa!
5.
ok...for my new son, little wild~child... pic of ur moms. just remember to take out the trash, do ur homework and keep up your grades in school... peace, 3cookies Hi there...
Aren't you cute. Do you like super hero's? God Blessa!
6. In America new games cost $50. But I'm thinking this game will come out costing no more than $40. God Blessa!
7. I think for Will to be considered like you said a "lyrical king", he'd have to release a lot more music. A lot of it is the fault of Columbia, but it's also from Will's choices do to continue doing so much movies. So here's what I'd like to see: Like three albums released through the next three years. With each album having no more than one party single. God Blessa!
8. How does a preview sound? http://ps2.ign.com/articles/527/527155p1.html Pretty interesting. It sticks to the movies and is more action focused. Lookin good. God Blessa!
9. Good news. I've been hearing people get negative because it's not like the books. I'm glad it's tight. God Blessa!
10. Where did you hear this? I think they said they would never replace her and that TLC was now done. God Blessa!
11. I'm on the west coast and I have no idea about these time zone schedules you guys are talking about. So it'll be harder for me. But good luck. God Blessa!
12. I, Robot looks like a great movie. But it doesn't seem like something that should have a sequel (at least the way the trailers show it). I'd like to see Will continue to do original movies and not just sequels. EDIT: I read the article. I'm a little more open to it now. But I don't want it to turn into the Matrix sequels. God Blessa!
13. I don't have a scanner, so here's the closest thing to me I could find: God Blessa!
14. I say P. Diddy. Mostly because I haven't heard enough of Bizarre to judge him. But I've heard plenty of the crap P. Diddy's done. Including that video with Loon where it takes all hip hop's stereotypes and makes me understand why so many people hate it. God Blessa!
15. Ja Rule for me. I just got too sick of him and apparently so did everyone else. He's as fake as can be. God Blessa!
16.
Most really young artists don't write their own stuff. ABC had Mike Bivens, Boyz II Men, Dallas Austin, Busta Rhymes writing their stuff. Kris Kross had input but Jermaine Dupri wrote almost all of their matieral until their last album. I 4get who wrote the stuff by Da Youngstas. I'll also check up on Illegal. A+ is the only young cat that i think wrote most of his own stuff. When u are 12 and 13, u probably shouldn't be writing most of your material. I waz writing back then, and when i look back on it, most of has some really good lines surrounded by stuff that i'd be embarassed 2 write these days. I'm pretty sure Lil' Romeo dosen't write much of his material tho'.
That's true too. I was just cleaning my room two days ago. I found two raps that I wrote. They were pretty wack. One was so bad that I through it away before reading the whole thing. I didn't wanna ruin my current style of rapping. God Blessa!
17. Does lil Romeo write his own songs? Cause if so, then he's already above Bow Wow on my list. Lil Bow didn't even start to write his own songs until his most recent album. God Blessa!
18. I just read in the paper that Method Man isn't too happy about it. He said that him and Red have done a lot of compromising while Fox hasn't done nearly enough. He called a lot of the jokes corny (those jokes are in there for "middle America) He also said he didn't know about the laugh track. He said "this show doesn't need it". And when you look at it, I have to fully agree. It looks like Fox is trying to get this thing cancelled. God Blessa!
19. In Media player it says "Copyright Island Def Jam Music". Anyway. It's ok. I'm just pretty sick of any song about a club. I really want some rapping. God Blessa!
20. Chingy. I've barely heard anything from the D12 guy. But what I have heard from him is a little funny. But chingy is just horrible. Abysmal. He is not a rapper. How a song that has the lines that rhyme "Chinaling" with "quite a dingaling" goes top shows how stupid people are. My vote: Chingy God Blessa!
21. Enemy of the State, followed by Bad Boys. I just really appreciate the kind of movies like Enemy of the State. It's smart, thrilling, and entertaining. God Blessa!
22. Without sounding preachy about it, when you see Nelly is marked down as a better rapper than Will, you know the list is wack. People are whack. God Blessa!
23. That Cool Edit Pro sounds good. But it's $400. I need a job and a credit card... Keep up the music. God Blessa!
24. Really good. Nothing I didn't like about it. Now you got me wishing I had a studio and a DJ, this brain can only do so much, I gotta rap out loud too. Very good job. God Blessa!
25.
The only things Eminem said 2 mock Will waz that line in the "Real Slim Shady" which isnt' actually a diss. Look at the lyric above...people are simply 2 stupid 2 understand this. He isn't praising Will at all, but the line simply isn't a diss. He only acknowleges Will's speech at the MTV Movie Awards a few years back and mocks Will cuz of his own insecurities and becuz at that time he waz building his entire career off dissing people in general. In the "Forgot About Dre" video...there is a break in the song where he talks 2 a reporter and starts off by saying "i was upstairs listening to my Will Smith CD..." Again, not exactly a real diss, just mocking Will for being large. The real "battle" in this waz made up by Eminem fans. Most of them being 9 year old white kids who have mega-rich parents took those 2 incidents and blew them up in their own minds as real disses. I myself highly doubt Will waz loosing sleep after hearing them. Eminem didn't say anything else and hasn't said anything since. If he had a real problem with Will, he would keep runnin' his mouth about him...but incase u havn't notice, it's been almost 5 years since all that. If he really dissed Will, i have a feeling Will would have responded. He's the kinda person 2 stay on the high ground cuz he is in a position where he's an easy target and his so-called "compitition" usually never stays in the limelight 2 long anyway. However, if he waz really attacked, i'm sure he would head 2 the lab and rip Em until he waz crying mercy on the inside....which might be what he needs. The day any rapper takes Eminem serious will be the day Will agrees 2 do Independence Day 2.
I think you take it a little too lightly than what it really was. When he says "f**k him", I would personally take that as a diss. And I think that the Forgot About Dre break was making fun of the idea that suburban kids listen to Will. I don't buy Eminem's CD's, but has he ever dissed P. Diddy? If not, think about that. I think it would be good if Will responded to Eminem. I'd like him to put him in his place. God Blessa!
