Haha.. the list ain't that bad actuallt. Alot of people get the recognition they deserve.

"Rémy Recognizes: Director Hype Williams has teamed with cognac brand Rémy Martin 1738 to help recognize the 1,738 most influential songs in black music. Williams is on a 20-date tour sponsored by the liquor company to provide exposure for the titles on the "Toast to 1738" list. It is a new role for Williams, who is best-known for directing colorful videos for the likes of Puff Daddy, Jay- Z and Ja Rule, in addition to the feature film "Belly," starring Nas, Method Man and DMX, among others. The 1,738-song list was compiled by Williams, the Rhythm & Blues Foundation and the Jazz Alliance International. Its hip-hop section features acts from 2 Live Crew and Digable Planets to 50 Cent and OutKast. "We wanted to give people some songs that really helped to reflect history," Williams says. "The tour is basically a collaboration between myself and Rémy the brand to give thanks to the cognac that myself and my friends have embraced over the years." It isn't overpiced at all compared to a lot of other players. I bought my 20 GB for 220$. A 512mb with nice design and good features could cost around 150-250$.. I only got one playlist.. it's built up like a concert. Starting with intros, partysongs.. then some calm ones.. and then a rough ending. It consists of 60 songs.. but the intro is born to reign..the main partysong is partystarter and one of the last songs is jesus walks.

I'm gonna check them out. Going to see the anger manegement tour.. would be nice to know some of their songs.

Pretty funny. Serves it's purpose well.

You can update and put up it's positions in the charts here. Could be a sticky for the future. With charts I mean like important charts like the airplaychart, billboard and itunes. Chart - Position, position before this update / date Airplay: #65 (67) / 17th August. iTunes history: 53, 61, 64, 65, 73, 76, 92, 99, 100 It's out of the top 100 in itunes. .I'll start picking up and updating as soon as it comes back. Until then.. the itunes history will only be up.

U.S is not helping Afghanistan. "Israël is in favor of the creation of a palestinian state!" Israel - Palestine conflict is sucj a huge area to take on. Israel May have said so, they may have went on with the temporary peace but they know it's just an act for the public. The same thing with Hamas. It goes a couple of months or weeks, and they start again. Neither of the sides want peace right now. If they would.. Israel would stop building the barriers and wall, they would stop the people building houses in palestine. But they don't cause in their heart, SHARON & co want to invade whole palestine. Israel & Palestine conflict will not reach a end with a murderer as israels leader. And it won't stop with Hamas having so much to say about things. Hamas won't shut up with attacks from israel. Palestinian athoritys needs education and help in getting control / money to build up an infrastructure and educatioin in those areas where Hamas control the towns. U.S is not heling by only helpin Israel and putting in vetos in the U.N trying to stop Israel in several unneccessary attacks.

Does it even matter. They get news.. promotion. This board is a couple thousand times better than that one, why the terrotorial anger? =)

I know you would love to bring kanye or more roc members down. But NO, NO chance will outsells kanye west. Diamonds is this week greatest gainer in sales. We thought switch had flopped too. The song is also MUCH different, so id their relevence in the game. Kanye will sell atleast 300k first week. And that's minimum, he just might sell 600 or 700k too as he is the biggest rapper, with the biggest fanbase after aftermath. For sure though is that he will also sell more than any rapper worldwide after 50 cent. Kanye has a fanbase VERY big in all country's cause of his counsciousness, that kind of music sells more in europe and asia.

Alot ot rappers/singers let a new single drop when their former single is on its peak.. like 50 cent, gwen stefani and more.

Kevtastic: It wasn't expected to drop this badly. 12k is extremly little. Somone asked if it's usual to pick up again in sales with new single. There is no universal answer to that, byt 12 is very little. People might think the album is old, and not hot even though it has compared to Beanie Segal or FAtih Evans done alot better in keeping it hot. If Partystarter is a top 5 hit, it might get back into the top 50. But then the album will be needing at least some promotion, websites or whatever. Cause people need to know he's got a album out. The ones that hesitated when Switch came out will probably buy the album cause of PS or Tell me why if they haven't downloaded it. It probably needs a HUGE miracle to do Multiplatinum. Platinum could be reachable if PS & TMW goes well and if WIll is going on tout. If PS doesn't do well and if TMW doesn't do well. Than Platinum is also unrechable.

Hopefully.. he'll rise next week.. but his real downfall came last week. But being in the top 50 is bad. Less visible for public eye. If he doesn't turn this around within a few weeks.. it's over. It may rise to 20k.. but people may not buy the album if they see it's so low on the charts.. they think it ain't hot nomore. When he was in the top 50 he was still hot for the public. Now if not a miracle happens.. it's real bad. I think the race for Plat has gotten it self a bad flat tire. on three tires. We can still hope for this to turn around, but y'all betta get prepared it doesn't. All my calculations on how much it would sell with new singles are not accurate anymore. Hopefully.. He'll do good with the new singles and will be able to reach at least 800k. Another danger is that the new singles won't be promoted to good if the albums is so low. But that depends on how much WIll & Interscope wanna go. If they have given up on the sales and don't care too much anymore, than it's pretty bad. Maybe Tell me why won't come out or come out without any support like so fresh. In that case sales may stop in about three months.. With 700k unreachable. But.. let's hope he turns this around..
