  1. DJ Jazzy Jeff - "In Time" Amazing album.
  2. :word: I can't stress enough how amazing that album is. Out of all of the hip-hop albums I've ever heard, that is the best one. Personally I was disappointed with the mixtapes though, but then it isn't really my thing..
  3. So how many points do you get given if you get fired as a result of attempting the above?
  4. Yeah it isn't true, but in response to the topic title "Will left Jeff behind?" - in terms of fame that is very correct. WS gave up working on JJFP albums to go on to do the TV and movies, before going on to a solo career and quickly became massive. Everyone knows who Will is but I'll bet if you asked, hardly anybody would ever have heard of Jeff. So did WS leave behind Jeff, from that aspect yes he did.
  5. You're probably right about getting over a fence actually. There's usually some local chavs that jump the fences to rob from tents. Actually, on second thoughts, from that aspect you'd fit right in Julie! ;) When I said WS was throwing "the horns", I mean the universally recognised sign of metal and rock'n'roll - the devil horns.
  6. Ah didn't see this thread before I made my new post. Yes, WS came on stage for a quick minute, and was giving the horns lol. What a guy. Jada was insane. Out of her mind. Some sort of manbeast! She just sounded crazy. It was weird to see her like that. Especially since the first music I heard from Jada was the spoken word on Afro Angel, and then 1,000 Kisses! I think she might get some more respect if she actually sung. The general concensus I got from people was "she actually can't sing!". Wicked Wisdom didn't get bottled, but they weren't exactly popular either. And they got two slots, once on the main stage! I guess that's what money gets you... Still, another great year for the festival. Can't wait for 2007. Shame about the riots on Sunday night though. Scary stuff. To begin with, security was generally shocking (what sort of security company has its employees drunk (and smoking weed) on the job, and actually steal from peoples tents. Seriously, I'm not joking). Anyway, on Sunday night, when the riots began security didn't know what to do. There was weird tribal drumming going on using heaps of metal bins, and I thought it was sounding pretty cool until I heard about the riots. Then it just sounded kinda sinister. Bonfires lit up everywhere with gas canisters were being thrown in before exploding (once a canister exploded while a naked guy was jumping over the fire!), and there was a massive fire and riot going down in the village. People were throwing their tents and everything at hand onto the fires to keep them stoked, lighting rigs were being pulled down, huge riots in the village. And then there was the riot police storming the campsites. A sour end to Donington 2006. No thank you to the a*seholes that were rioting. Download is generally a really friendly festival, not like Leeds or Glastonbury or whatever. Rioting is a first for Download, but I guess next year it'll be the same if people just turn up for cheap thrills. Since people were fighting with police in the campsites though, they could just run to hide in tents and police kept getting the wrong people (hence only 12 were arrested). I had a mate who was just standing doing nothing wrong drinking his beer, heard a yell, and turned round to face it thinking it was just a random drunk guy, but it was the riot police charging at him. All he remembers is a shield smashing him in the face, falling down, getting kicked in the chest, and beaten over the head numerous times with a truncheon. Luckily he got released a few hours later. Having said that, the festival right up until the end when that happened was AMAZING. Anyway, back to your "come on Lorettas lets go" comment. If you want to pay about £150 just on the off-chance that you might see WS, then be my guest.. Let's just keep Donington about the music please. Which stage was he on, and which band was he playing in?
  7. Oh yeah! Haha. WS at the Download Festival watching Wicked Wisdom. He was at the side, and then everyone spotted him, and everybody began chanting "WE WANT WILL! WE WANT WILL!". It was insane. Then after Wicked Wisdom he got up on the stage, and begins throwing the horns! He got a massive cheer from the whole crowd! What a legend. Jada was worrying though. Seriously. Some sort of machine. Anybody else there?
  8. 3 seconds. Sitting down. White top.
  9. lol you might want to watch referring links though. If they see a sudden X0,000 increase in an artist in a matter of hours, with quite a few people coming in from this thread link, they might well get suspicious and decide to check it out. Cunning, yes, but careful not to get busted there, Brakes. Also maybe a risk of them spotting that all are coming from the same few IP addresses (I don't know if it records that or not). The key to it though, is getting away with it (which you hopefully will). How many votes do you need anyway?
  10. Presumably, guessing from that picture, he is going to become a man of violence and hope not to meet a bad end.
  11. Yeah, nice one. Though it's maybe stretching it a bit to say that JJFP is "still going" after 20 years. Their last JJFP album was in 1993.. I mean, sure they say they "never split", but it's been 13 years since the last proper studio record.. Am I the only one that sees the irony here? Sure they are still going, but individually, and making music individually. But together? Nah. Not properly. The only way I can accept that JJFP is "still going" would be if they came out with another album. Sorry, but putting out numerous variations of Greatest Hits CDs that are essentially the same or very similar, just doesn't quite cut it for me.
  12. Lerk I feel betrayed - your toenails aren't rotten at all, unlike what you previously claimed. Nevermind, I'm taking the liberty of posting a photo (taken a second ago) of proper rotten toenails (mine), and (also taken a second ago) what I would call quite long hair (unlike your previous effort). When it's straightened, it completely hides my face. Yes, I'm getting a haircut sometime. Don't know when, or how much to get off. The important thing is, I've beaten you on both aspects, Lerkot. Try harder next time.
  13. Please be my guest. People already do to me, hehe. Girls mainly, when I get attacked by them! I have photos of me with my hair straightened (it's pretty long), eye shadow on, eye liner...... :ponder: I will also accept a perm and manicure if it's on offer. Ok, not that far. I'm comfortable with the eye liner and stuff (see, REAL man), but I have to draw the line somewhere.
  14. lol I love the "when I first came out" part.
  15. Lerkot, your hair isn't long! You haven't seen mine! My fringe goes to my chin :kekeke: But I am actually thinking of getting it cut....damn I've grown attached to it (pun intended) :(
  16. Yeah some of it is quite amusing...some is rubbish though. :kekeke:
  17. The guest is actually a rejected Mexican drug lord, called "El Enrique Gomez". All you need now is a tan. And some more Mexicans.
  18. I think basically part of the problem now is the availability of computers and the internet to people of all ages. I mean, with computers now in the vast majority of houses, and computers in schools, younger people are able to access the internet, and I think that's what we're seeing now. I mean, most people on WS.com are pre-teen girls (and preteen boys that with they were girls)! In the past on the WS.com message board, I seem to remember most people being over 16, so there really wasn't any problem. That's "progress" I guess.. :ponder:
  19. Dawg, I'm hopin to GOD that you weren't serious about the crying part...either that, or I hope you're some kind of metrosexual. How about you shut your mouth? :word: Hey WillReign, how much more time do you have to spend in the army? And yeah, no worries, if it really is your dream then you'll see him sometime. :2thumbs: Just don't be like Julie and start screaming in his face!! :kekeke:
  20. When I said that the iPod was a successful gimmick, I was meaning that people fell for it.
  21. Wow, somebody critisizing somebody else because of how they hold a microphone? :wtf: Nice interview - I liked the "and welcome to London - the multicultural capital of the world" lol
  22. Really, Wes? I've never had any problems with it freezing up, and my battery life lasts between 23 and 24 hours.
  23. Yeah, I wrote my verse in a hurry. Wasn't my best. I agree with Loco for both things. I'm feeling Pak's verse. Trey can I ask why you wrote it in a hurry? And why finalise it if you know it isn't your best? You should always put 100% effort into what you write. Be a perfectionist. Go through it again and again until you're completely happy with it. Otherwise, what's the point in writing at all?
