Men In Black

Will Smith continued in the sci fi genre after the massive success of Independance Day. At first he was unsure off doing sci-fi films back to back but when Steven Spielberg came calling Will Smith couldnt turn him down. The unlikely pairing of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones and the suttle humour of the movie once again proved a winning forumula. By this stage Will Smith with just a few films to his credit had two of his films in the top 20 grossing films of all time.

DVD Review

When the Men In Black DVD's came out they were probably the best dvd's at the time, packed with features with plenty of interesting behind the scenes material and commentaries.

Plot

Men in Black follows the exploits of agents Kay (Jones) and Jay (Smith), members of a top-secret organization established to monitor and police alien activity on Earth. The two Men in Black find themselves in the middle of the deadly plot by an intergalactic terrorist (Vincent D'Onofrio) who has arrived on Earth to assassinate two ambassadors from opposing galaxies. In order to prevent worlds from colliding, the MiB must track down the terrorist and prevent the destruction of Earth. It's just another typical day for the Men in Black.

Best Scene

The scene where J is selected for the Men In Black is absolutely brilliant. The setting up of the Men In Black premise was so well done and extremely funny.
