Andy Carrington is a freelance writer from Pontefract, West Yorkshire, currently residing in Shipley. He was educated at Wakefield College and the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, where he gained a 2.1 in English Literature and Creative Writing, and has since been the feature of various monthly and quarterly poetry magazines. To date, his work has also been included in two poetry anthologies -- one of which was compiled to raise money for the Prince of Wales Hospice, Pontefract -- and he has published one collection of poetry independently, entitled But, Mother Knows (2009).
