It's locked away in the MTV vault along with "Yo! MTV Raps". lol. Some background information though. On Saturday June 22, 2002, (3 days before Born to Reign was released) Will was invited to the MTV Beach House in Seaside Heights, NJ Boardwalk and Casino Pier. It was a great summertime day. Will came in on a boat and it was an hour long show that FP performed "Black Suits Comin", "Act Like U Know", "I Cant Stop" along with oldies such as "Gettin Jiggy Wit It", "Miami", "Wild Wild West" and ended the show by surprising everyone with "Summertime". DJ Jazzy Jeff/Tra-Knox backed him up on stage and it was just amazing. I can't believe I didn't tape this - especially since they showed it like 5 times like the next two days. If only I had moved earlier instead of the next week then I probably coulda went. Our very own AJ went and had the time of his life. I'll never forget the ending though, when I heard those famous drums...then the dip into "Summertime"..man at the beach...jersey shore, girls in bikinis, beachballs in the air, couple water guns and just everyone having a great summer time day. I wish I was there so bad. Hey Kev, is there any possible way you could get us the video of this? Like the whole long special. I remember MTV packed some nice classic JJFP clips together...it was awesome. Maybe possibly give it to MaxFly? I would love to have this on my computer as a video. You could always ask MaxFly or Typhoon20 for help...seems like they are the video experts..I would love to have this great performance as a masterpiece.
