They've been a big side whose underachieved for a while. They may have a reputation of cheating but who the hell hasnt in this let down of a World Cup. Screw the Portugese, and Screw Germany. Germany vs. Italy will be a very good game, and France vs. Portugal will be interesting, too. I'm sure that the final will be Germany vs. France. Germany has it's home advantage and the fans will help them beating Italy, and France is that damn strong after they destroyed the bad playing Brazil. J-o-e Posted July 2, 2006 Report Share Posted July 2, 2006 Ok, Rooney didn't derserve that...He didn't exactly kick him in the privates either...he tried not to but ronaldo was on the floor rolling around trying to get a free kick, which he done all game, I'm a man united fan and do not want Ronaldo to come back...He wouldn't dare play football in this nation. The only possible way that Rooney deserved that was a yellow card for the foul and a yellow card for the shove...but he didn't show two yellows, he showed one red...a straight red for violent conduct...I was in my local pub watching it, It was the most heartbreaking moment of my life....I just hope the media won't do Rooney as the done Beckham...and Oh prince...Rooney isn't that dumb...he's got a smart football brain...and lets face it that's all that he needs.... Germany Or Italy will win this years world cup....I want France to knock out them Portuegese, It will be France Vs Germany World Cup Final...that would be a nice game. Yep Rooney was alittle too aggresive but thats as far as it went. He's dumb but can sure as hell play football. BECKHAM - Although it wasn't the happy end he wanted, i respect him for what he strived to do as England Captain, Bring on Terry as the next captain. Are everybody here forgetting that your precious Lampard and Gerrard missed the penalty's? Why is that you englishmen always blame something on someone.. Why not blame your own team? They played terrible.. Portugal was not better.. but if they lost i would'nt blame it on England? I would blame Portugal.. As for that red card.. I dont think the referee is an idiot.. One of the best in the world is one of the reason Fifa chosed him to be referee in the world cup... He is a referee from argentina... Anyone remembers Boca Juniors and River Plate? I'm too gutted to comment on anything else. Although I will say, jusy coz Fifa chose him doesnt mean he's a great ref. J-o-e Posted July 2, 2006 Report Share Posted July 2, 2006 That ref was an idiot...The amount of dives Ronaldo done...and the rest of the team...They should of all good booked for diving full stop....It was completely terrible referring..I know Gerrad And Lampard missed penatlies but at the end of it all...England would of won with rooney scoring in normal time...We had loads of chances with 10 men which Rooney would of got hold of... I have a hard time thinking McClaren would do a better job, whatever the English "media" says) and fought well but the red card was strange because Rooney obviously didnt mean to put his foot on the guys balls (if he got any, doubtful).
