Industrial Revolution, 4th Branch, Harlem Streets, The Cause of Death.... all great tracks. but i'd probably have to choose 2Pac because some of his lyrics were straight up hot even if they didnt stand for the right things.... but even still a lot of his lyrics did stand for somethin (keep ya head up, unconditional love, etc) and those were dope too other mentions are little brother and rakim. I think Queen Latifah, Lauryn Hill, Monie Love, Salt-N-Pepa and MC Lyte rank among the best lyricists, I think Jean Grae is off to a good start even though she ain't well known yet, we need more of them who got class and skill instead of all these tramps like Trina and Lil' Kim who make trashy porno raps...
