I thought we'd established that Holy Roller has nothing to do with his ex wife Joe?

Sorri i didnt know that, i thought it was...what song is about his ex wife then?? if there is one???
Had a dream I said, bout who he said?
Bout B.I.G. I said, that's big he said
Dig what he said, proceed he said
Indeed I said, so - breathe I did
Don't repeat what I say I said, he said nothin
He agreed with his head, he just nodded like this
What I believe to be a yes I re-peated what was said
It came to me like a .. well last evenin I said
"You feel playboy," was the greeting he said
First thing I wanted to know, what's the reason he was dead?
"More money, more problems, better believe it," he said
"Careful what you wish for you might receive it," he said
I see I said, jealousy I said
Got the whole industry mad at me I said
Then B.I. said, "Hov' remind yourself
nobody built like you, you designed yourself"
I agree I said, my one of a kind self
Get stoned every day like Jesus did
What he said, I said, has been said before
"Just keep doin your thing," he said, say no more
-Jay Z "A Dream"

not really, perhaps I Loved You, but i kinda doubt it. Will has always kept a tight bond with his ex-wife. he's always said that just cuz they couldn't work things out doesnt mean he should talk trash about her. that would just set a bad example 4 Trey. he's always visited his ex-wife on Holidays and kept a friendship with her.

Now I'd say I wish I made That..... or mr Niceguy....or Lost & found....... damn it!!! there's too much good stuff on this album!!!!!!! :dj:
Makin this record waz a breath of fresh air 4 me...being able 2 make a record with no limitation but ur creativity iz very rare n the major music industry 2day...I wish more artists, producers and writers would have the ability 2 express themselves as they truly are...artist...the music industry is more about business then musik..ats all about business so we loose a lot of the true artists we have...we need more ways 4 us to express ourselves as artists without all the expectations of the business side..after all...we are artists 1st n we do musik... jus somenthing 2 think ... I like "Tell Me Why" most.
And "Party Starter" is really good.
And all other songs are of course very good, too.
Well, I like the whole CD with all songs on it.

I think right now my favorite song is "Party Starter". Will's lyrics are incredible for a party song.

I agree, great lyrics for a party song, I went with Party Starter, but Lost and Found and Tell Me Why are right there, too.
I'm comin' is what I screamed
As a teen armed with discipline, faith, and a dream
After smoke clears, after life's roller coasters
See who stands putting his mic into his holster, what!

I have to go with "Lost & Found" because I have been waiting for someone to say this for at least the last 10 years. It's funny, I started listening to Hip Hop again because of Eminem because at least he wasnt spittin the same garbage as everyone else. These new guys are just rehashing the same stuff NWA and Geto Boys were doin back in the day. The only difference is the beats. When Will said,"You dont even believe what you say no more." is so true. I'm sure 50 isnt still livin in the hood or bangin for that matter. His staying power is limited because he's miles wide and only inches deep.
