Men in Black 3 se estrenará en España el 25 de Mayo, pero sus protagonistas vendrán el próximo 13 de Mayo a Madrid a presentar la película. Overbrook attending 'Ghost Graduation'

Will Smith's company setting up remake of Spanish laffer at Fox

Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment is materializing on "Ghost Graduation," setting up a remake of the Spanish comedy at Fox.

Overbrook, operated by Smith, James Lassiter and Ken Stovitz closed its producing deal Friday. The banner is looking to hire a writer to pen the adaptation, but there's no plan for Smith to star.

With elements of "Ghost," "The Breakfast Club" and "The Sixth Sense," story centers on a teacher with paranormal abilities who helps a group of ghosts confined to the high school where they died years earlier in a fire. The Spanish pic, "Promocion Fantasma," was directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera and released earlier this year. Gary Glushon is overseeing for Overbrook.

Shingle is also producing sci-fier "1000 A.E." for Sony with M. Night Shyamalan directing and Smith and son Jaden starring. Studio's set a June 7, 2013 release date.

Will Smith had the young fans dancing at the 25th Annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards at USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles on Saturday. In an amazing entrance the entertainer was rapping with a LMFAO medley as he kicked off the award show.
The incredible entrance wasn’t just about throwing the words together to get the crowd moving. Instead it was the over the top moment where the fans were drenched from balloons of slime from above and as unsuspecting at the kids were in the front rows, there was no doubt plenty of shock with the green slime fell from the sky every time Will Smith asked “Can you handle it?”
While the youngsters were probably pretty excited to see the established movie star on stage, some of the old fans were in awe. The rapper who hit the charts twenty plus years ago could still move the lyrics like it was no big deal. Dancing and rapping, it was an amazing performance that set the tone for the night.

Just when you thought Will Smith would fade away and stick with acting, the mega star is coming back with his fifth studio album. Smith exclusively announced to us that his new album will be titled ‘The Essence’ and will be marketed as a ‘Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince’ project.

Smith has been secretly working on his comeback album in between films and will be releasing it through his Overbrook Company on June 25^th 2012. The lead single ‘Feelin’ Fresh’ will be released to radio April 25^th and goes back to Smiths roots as an emcee. Most people know Smith to rhyme about all things pop and never delve too far into the realm of real lyricism. But with this album Smith will depart from the mainstream image and opt for something a little more old school.

When asked about the album Smith had this to say:

“I’m really excited to be getting back on the mic in such a big way. I called up my man Jazzy and told him ‘I think I got one more in me…’. We spent 3 straight weeks in his studio just vibing and reminiscing on the good old days. Out of that session we managed to write and record 8 tracks for the album. I’ve never felt so good about an album before and believe I have something special to share with the world….especially the hip hop heads”

When asked to comment on why he did not record the third instalment of the MIB theme song Smith said;

“You know what… I did the first two tracks and they were great, but this time round I wanted to distance myself from it and not have it associated with my new album.”

The album will also feature collaborations with Q-Tip, Mos Def and Queen Latifah.
