Sometimes i wonder... i know america is big and many people live there... BUT. I never get this in my head why the movies gonna run with over 100 million ~ earning dollars... Why is that so? ... So that 5,34 million dollars are the complete cash from all weeks? Then the movie falls down. 4 Million in first week... 1,3 million in second week. Very bad. Edit: Ok now here the results from Germany: 450.000 visitors and 4,3 million €uro (5,3 million $) This is a plus from 35000 visitors more than the first week and now an total gross about 8,3 million € (10,3 million $) Thats a good result. The bad weather and many good reviews and mouth to mouth advice will have done his job. Still #1!!! (#2 Snow White & the Huntsman 390.000 visitors)

If they bring this story what Emmerich and his writer made for... why not. Smith as General wuild be great :D

Hancock 2 is definetly what people waiting for. Good story even like the first half of the first one, a better "bad guy" and Hancock 2 will running even better... most people i know thinks that Hancock was that typical type of movie from Will Smith. Myself are WANT the I, Robot 2. I, Robot is one of my favs from Smith (and ID4). Ok youre right: The most people, me too, want BB3 better yesterday then tomorrow. But not even all ;)

@JJAJ Give them a chance. But see that you got a good 3D cinema next to you. Its better to go to an other cinema/other city to see a good 3D than to see a bad 3D. Especially because of mib3 is converted 3D. The 3D effect can make a movie even better... or worse. I will see MiB3 this friday again too ;)

In Germany we talk about Visitors. I saw in an article something about 400.000 Visitors... it was 1,3 million people on mib2... The most Will Smith movies are get over a million visitors the first weekend. I think here come many different things together. We have had warm weather here for 2 weeks now. Very good other movies in the cinemas (avengers are still running very good) The very most people definetly like mib3 and find it better than the second one. But maybe this movie was better on a winter release? Whatever. MiB3 are gone reach #1 of the german cinema charts (dictator got 401.000 visitors on lunch weekend last week, normally this gone down the next week)

I guess I had built it up too much in the lead up to the movie... 1st - MIB 2nd - MIB 3 3rd MIB 2 Perhaps they should leave this as a trilogy... Yes. They definetly should leave this as a trilogy. 3 Movies are ok and the third are even better then the second one. Because of your spoiler:

I have to correct myself: m3b IS a converted 3D Movie... all i know was a interview ~2 years ago where they saying they will shot it direct to 3D...

Lets see whats going on the next days... there a lot of good reviews now and people say it to other people. BUT: I believe this is so "bad" because of the 3D. Who knows that the movie are gone direct 3D? Not many. But there many movies the last time where the 3D are converted. Its no good 3D. The people knowing that and remember then... its cost more. So they decide to dont going in that movie. The 3D in that movie is good. But i missed more scenes where you can see the "depth effect"... thats why people want to see 3D. Effects.

Ill give them 5 of 5 possible points. Absolutely great. Not that good then the first one. But... you CANT make a movie better then this... at least a sequel

Today i go to cinema (Cinedom, Cologne/Germany) to see. Now lets see what happens. I saw a article here from usa thats told that mib3 is probalby the best of the franchise. Im electrified now.
