  3. What I'm saying is that we don't know the reasons why he wants to use "study tech" in his school. I'm sure it has nothing to do with what people and media are saying, there must be a good explanation behind it. That's all.
  4. Will Smith's Sydney premiere of Hancock cancelled May 20, 2008 11:30pm HOLLYWOOD heavyweights Will Smith and Charlize Theron have had their trip to Sydney cancelled because the print of their flick, Hancock, won't be ready to make the journey with them. Smith had personally nominated Sydney as the city to host the world premiere for the super-hero comedy film, with the A-listers to have walked the red carpet at the Entertainment Quarter on June 10. But due to the print delay, the Harbour City has unfortunately been shafted, with Hancock now scheduled to debut in France a week later. http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0...from=public_rss So Tim was right. Sorry man :worried:

  6. Overbrook, Will Smith to redo French blockbuster By Borys kit May 19, 2008, 06:43 PM France's biggest movie is getting the American treatment courtesy of Will Smith. Warner Bros. Pictures has picked up the film rights option to remake "Welcome to the Sticks" (Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis) for Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment to produce. "Sticks," starring Kad Merad and Dany Boon, who also directed and co-wrote, follows a postal employee from the sunny south of France who gets an unwanted transfer to the rain-soaked north, known as "the sticks," where he is eventually won over by the locals warm-hearted ways and impenetrable dialect. Produced and distributed by Pathe, "Sticks" opened late February and has gone on to break all box office records in France. It has grossed over $180 million and is poised to overtake "Titanic" in the coming weeks to become the highest grossing movie ever released in Gaul. Warner optioned the rights from Pathe International. James Lassiter and Smith will produce for Overbrook with Agnes Mentre. Lynn Harris will oversee for Warners. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/conten...9d350637e84db92

  8. I know, but that doesn't prove anything yet. Nice said VIsqo
  9. Hang on Ale it is not the same old story. I wish it was but there are some indisputable facts about what they teach at this school and who is doing the teaching. The "study tech" thing I find the most concerning because it may not be an outrageous form of teaching but why would you use "study tech" if you do use it you have to pay Scientology money.. Yes, and what? Does it mean Will is funding a Scientology school? No. Does it mean Will is a Scientologist? Of course not. Does it mean Will is supporting Scientology with his own money? Maybe, who knows. But this is not new, I don't know why you are so surprised. This has been said by the media many times, and now it seems to be real because his new school is using "study tech". But we are forgetting something: we don't even know if this is true or not. For me, it's still a rumor, and we all know how the media works so like I said my opinion about Will hasn't changed at all.

  11. Come on guys. This changes nothing for me. Don't let haters and media convince you, this is just the same old story.

  16. Posted May 16th 2008 10:21AM by Wilson Morales It's been a long time since Tatyana Ali played little Ashley Banks with Will Smith in 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air', and now she's all grown up playing a mom and reprising her role in 'Nora's Hair Salon 2', which is out on DVD. Also featured in the film are Stacey Dash, Mekhi Phifer, and yes, singer/actor Bobby Brown. When Simone (Dash) inherits the neighborhood hair salon from her Aunt Nora, she soon discovers that the hair dryer isn't the only thing she'll need to keep an eye on – her cousin Lilliana (Ali), a stylist, has her own plans for the shop's future, and now the two girls can't agree on whether to sell the business and cash in or continue to cater to their loyal client base. Lilliana is tired of trying to raise a son while constantly playing the role of peacekeeper between feuding stylists Delicious and Xenobia, but the salon holds a special place in her heart that she isn't quite ready to give up. But Simone has decided to sell the shop and make a pretty penny, leaving the conflicted Lilliana to choose between taking the quick payout and using all of her energy to keep the salon in business.. Static won't be the only thing causing friction as the salon regulars are at the edge of their seats to see if Simone can weave the magic back into her aunt's shop. Bobby Brown, who played a different character in 'Nora's Hair Salon', plays Old Man Butter the love interest of Simone. Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4le5JUtqqk...noras-hair-sal/
  17. Connor Cruise on the set of 'Seven Pounds' Tom and Katie and Suri! visited son Connor on the set of his upcoming film Seven Pounds yesterday. The youngest thespian of the former Cruise-Kidman family was shooting in Hollywood, for his role as the young version of Will Smith's character Ben in the emotional drama. Will plays an IRS agent depressed about his past, who sets out to make things right by helping strangers. Rosario Dawson also stars as Ben's love interest and Woody Harrelson plays a blind pianist who befriends Smith's character, Ben. It's Connor Cruise's first turn at acting, though he's already booked a role in the Aaron Sorkin-scripted, Steven Spielberg-directed The Trial of the Chicago 7, now in pre-production. Not bad! 22. New Hancock Set Photos Mildly Disturbing Writing by Dave on Monday, 12 May, 2008 at 10:08 am No, they don’t show Will Smith molesting children. They are pretty tame. And Spike Lee is there for some reason (photos under the cut). This weekend, Hancock did some filming in Times Square, which is disconcerting, because the film has already screened in test form (since it wrapped production in November) Not only that, but there are rumors that Hancock has already FAILED to get a PG-13 rating after submitting to the MPAA twice. Each time, they came away with an R. Peter Berg, who we love for his contribution of Friday Night Lights to the television landscape, told the New York Times: ”“We had statutory rape up until three weeks ago,” referring to the re-cuts constantly taking place to bring Hancock in at a PG-13 rating so Will Smith can take the 4th of July box office he is now all but entitled to. But, can Hancock really pull in the numbers everyone expects from it? We’ve heard that the power of super-hero ejaculate is discussed in the test-screenings, with Hancock blowing holes in the roof of his trailer during orgasm. We’ve heard that the movie – at one time – contained several scenes of Hancock drinking with under-age kids. We’ve heard that the gag in the preview where Hancock tells a fellow inmate he’ll shove the inmate’s head in the inmate’s ass, well, actually happens on screen. We hate to be the buzz-kill here, but pickups this weekend in Times Square about 7 weeks from the release date spell BAD NEWS. http://www.thebadandugly.com/2008/05/12/ne...dly-disturbing/ http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/849/secondpicsr7.jpg http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/9623/thirdpicwq7.jpg
