do you work for a record company? why should someone otherwise disconnected to the finacial situation, even care about how rich a ceo of a record company is. Artists don't make **** from record sales they make it from touring.

I managed a record store for 5 years, and i have well over a thousand cds in my collection, so this isn't a defense of downloading. But as an artist that makes little to nothing off of my music, i would much rather have more people listen to what i do then have more money in my pocket from what i do.
