I just read an article saying he has been admitted to a rehab center due to the stress of the whole situation.

I don't like to say much as I'm just an outsider looking in, but that doesn't look like a healthy relationship at all. Will looks completely broken and Jada comes off as really abusive in that clip. 

Another reason why this is shocking to a lot of people is because for decades Will's been known as this super friendly nice guy. So for him to do something like this is very out of character for him. 

I dunno. With the way things have been I'm scared Will is  gonna come out with a gangster rap album 

Honestly, as much as i hate the situation, the memes are pretty funny. 
But yeah, the media need to take it easy now, they are interviewing every celebrity about it to try and get another headline. I'm disappointed in some celebrity takes on it. Amy schumer said it was really upsetting to see Will slap Chris Rock, then ive seen another story saying one of her jokes about the Alec Baldwin shooting accident wasn't allowed. Why does she think a joke about someone getting killed can be ok?
Anyway, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Will made a mistake, we all make mistakes, let it go. 

i'm hoping that he teams up with jeff and does a code red/willenium project in philly for the streets and get back at all; the critics, to me will's like hammer, he's harder than 99% of the fake gangsta rappers, go for eminem's crown will and go diamond with some hard heat

I think opinion is divided because people can't believe that Will Smith could do something like this. For decades he's been knowing as the fun, nice guy who's friendly with everyone. So I think that's the reason why people are trying to justify (Not that what was done can be justified) why Will did what he did. 

I agree with a lot of opinions here. I don't think Will is doing good mentally. It was like a bi-polar moment for him. He's seen laughing at the joke to then slapping Chris and shouting at him. Next he gets the win and then cries and says something that he's a "vessel of love" and "love makes you do crazy things".
Dude - you just slapped the host of the show because Jada wasn't having it. Listen, I get defending your wife but that was such an instant response to Jada. It was uncalled for. The joke wasn't even that bad. It's comedy. So now if we go to comedy shows and don't like a joke we can slap the comedian? It's bizarre. I get that it's an isolated incident but I think it was trigger by some deep wounds and toxicity in his life. He needs some help and healing. I haven't read the book but it seems like their are some deep rooted issues. 
We're obviously all people on the outside watching but part of me thinks their marriage has run it's course. He was humiliated on the RTT with Jada where she justified her actions in front of the world to make a private matter turn into public display of marriage therapy in which she profited off of it. She had an affair with their son's friend. That's crazy. So because the traditional definition of marriage doesn't apply to their "open marriage" makes what she did okay? And now they're going to have another episode that they're going to profit from from all the views. I could do without the pomp and circumstance.
Honestly, I'm just turned off by Will and have been for a few years now. Maybe at his core he's still the guy we all grew up loving from JJFP, FPOBA to the early 2000s but he doesn't have the same appeal to me. He's a business and a brand and the one thing I want from him - he doesn't sell anymore - which is music. I'm not into Will Smith the character, the box office star and hollywood elite. He's just not relatable. I feel the same way about Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson too. 
I dont care and never cared about: 
his movies his marriage and how open it is his kids his snapchat his instagram his book (well maybe some parts of it) bel-air reboot hollywood life  his politics his youtube channel his motivation advice his workout routine selling me products (bel-air merch, JUST water...etc) ...etc Anything with music - count me in. 
 

I think Will needs to get help. And I don't think going public (Whether it's Red Table Talk or some other media outlet) is the answer. I think he needs to work on himself and get help privately. I don't think he's in the right state of mind to be going in front of cameras right now. 

I'd love him to return to music, but I think he needs to work on his mental health first.

This is the best rap verse I’ve heard in years. I was getting worried Will wouldn’t be able to write as good as he used to but that’s better than some of his older stuff.
Hes been so clever with building his Instagram and YouTube channels so people love him, then boom drops that on them. And the reponce couldn’t be better.

Well like I mentioned maybe this freestyle will open up the ignorant millennials towards the classic hip hop n for the record when I think of classic albums I think of jjfp he's the DJ I'm the rapper ll cool j mama said knock you out Beastie boys licensed to I'll Nas illmatic n not Eminem or 99%of albums post 2000 don't get me wrong he's a good rapper but I wouldn't put him in the same breath as them

I think Will should do his solo,album that he’s doing now and they should do a JJFP album separately where Will just spends a couple of weeks in jeffs studio. They need to make it happen though no more talk.

I hope Get Lit will be part of a new album, and not just a one off song. But after 12 years of waiting for something new, one new song is better than nothing.  From the clips I saw on Youtube, the show looked incredible. Boom! sounded awesome, and I think this live version sounds better than the studio version. Nightmare was a great surprise, and it was fun to see old school classics Girls and Parents in the show. 
Will said that he's got the bug again, so hopefully these two shows lead into more live performances and more new music. 

I am hoping this is isn't happening.  There are some things you don't mess with and FPOBA is one of them!
