  1. "I dont wanna sit around all day getting reminded that life sucks."

Good for you. Personally, I'd rather hear about someone rappin' about real life than some hip-hop executive fantasy world that a small percentage of people can relate to. None of us have what Kanye or Jay-Z has, it's like they're waving it in our faces. And so many other "artists" are following their lead...it's degrading the artform further.

As times change, the world's opinion of what is "great" does also. It's gotten so bad that the almighty Dr. Dre has some rocker chick singing on his big comeback single. That NEVER would have happened 10-20 years ago! But he had to do what the industry dictates is "relevant".

  2. I don't like 50's music, but I like how he's standing up for real hip-hop. As far as I'm concerned, Diddy was NEVER real hip-hop. He was always "pop rap" as far as I remember. Real rappers don't write checks, they write RHYMES. Diddy's the opposite.

    "Puff Daddy, enough already.
    Now it's P. Diddy, still sounds s**tty."

  3. I just found out that the go-go group E.U. (famous for "Da Butt") has a bunch of albums I never heard. I am having trouble downloading their albums "Go Ju Ju Go" and "Make Money", as well as some of their 12" singles. If anyone has these to share, I could share some of theirs that I have.

  4. This is a new league starting tomorrow, with ex-NFL players (i.e. Simeon Rice) and recent NFL cuts. Debut teams are in San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York, and Orlando. Games will be played on weekdays and some Saturdays. More info at http://www.ufl-football.com and http://www.uflaccess.com. I'm excited about it.

  5. OMG this is awesome! They are one of my faves of all time!

There is only one perfect man to be the third Fat Boy: Biz Markie!!! He's fat, he can beat box, he can rap, he's got the sense of humor, and more importantly he's got the respect and love from the hip hop community. Some unknown or "reality star" may work out, but it's a gamble.
