  1. Ok, so my understanding of the "English" language must be lacking, because I was barley able to get through that accent. But in the beginning did she call out the Ski's too? She'd probably never want to take a trip here because that would probably get smacked around a bit, or laughed at. But in all seriousness she's pretty trashy. But it's probably a good sign that people didn't put up with her ****, I'm sure there was a time when she would have been joined in by other. Notice how she was the outcast. Hopefully her kid doesn't pick up on it and instead thinks for himself.

On a side note, if my ears didn't deceive me, and she did get angry at Polish people too, it's probably because she's too stupid to spell even the most basic Polish name.

Any Idea what she was arrested for?

  2. We had the Heavy D funeral. And for me, which eclipses the loss of his music, I lost my dog, Stormy, of 18 years. And with all the problems of not finding a good job and not being able to get to grad school this year, it really kinda sucks right now. Not really sure why i'm posting about it, but a lot of you guys seem like friends so i figured what the heck. But one things for sure Jazzy Jeff and Will really need to kick an album out. In a time when a lot of people are struggling I think their positive music could really help a lot of people. Well, that's all I guess.

  3. Alright, so I grew up listening to oldies and blues and polka, when I hit junior high I jumped into listening to rap, needless to say I skipped a whole lot of good music. One style that always peaked my interest was the New Jack Swing era. Apart from me hitting up wikipedia I was hoping you guys who have a lot of knowledge could point out some of the more upbeat, faster paced songs of the style. Songs in the vein of Bobby Brown My Prerogative. Not really looking for anything too slow, not at the moment at least. Thanks guys.

Oh, and if anyone would like to be educated in Polka feel free to ask. :pound:

  4. I was going to post this earlier but due to a power outage I had to wait. Anyway, there's one line that Heavy D said that should make all his fans happy.

"Size; ten and a half, sometimes eleven
Place of rest after death? Heaven
    Favorite dessert; chocolate chip cake
Favorite dance - mine, the Heavy D Shake"
    From 'More Bounce'

I also bolded 'chocolate chip cake' because that's legit.

  5. yeah and he had that legendary performance at the bet awards just a couple weeks ago that's why this is so shocking, i thought he still had it in him to get back to the top of hip hop again, jjfp should do a tribute to him...

Jazzy Jeff gave his sentiments to him on twitter but I would love to see JJFP do something. It would be amazing if Pete Rock and Cl Smooth could get back together to do a track in the vein of T.R.O.Y. in honor of Heavy D. Such a bummer, Heavy D was one of those artists i'd always wanted Will to do a track with.

  6. yeah back in the days if somebody was doing something fake they'd get dissed and it'd force them to make better music but these days they get away with it and that's why there's so much trash out there, more mcs need to speak up like this, I agree with you AJ that real mcs shouldn't sugar coat how they really feel, even FP gave 50 Cent props when we all know that 50's been one of the lost mcs... Jay-Z was one of the real mcs in the mid-90s but that's a long time ago since these days he puts out mainstream trash with Kanye, Ice-T's always stayed true to the game, he did a better job making "99 Problems" than Jay-Z did:

So we've got what, 3 different 99 problems?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmy113gMds0

Add those together it's no wonder the worlds got so many issues

  7. Get it, Ice-T. Preach on! I get kinda disappointed when some of my favorite emcees are play supportive of the idiotic gutter trash that is making rap music. They suck. Let's stop sugar coating it.

Disagree if you want, but ask yourself this. If Rick Ross, Lil' Wayne or Jay-Z say they are going to gun you down, would you be scared? NO! If Ice-T said he would...you'd probably be a little worried...lol. Fantasy raps were cool back in the day but there's nothing "fantasy" about being a studio gangsta.

Just thinking. Do you think that the current culture of NOT dissing, in that we don't see too many diss tracks from mainstream artists, has had a negative impact hip-hop?

  8. mannn the moment the first single drops I'm hitting up all the radio stations and EVERYTHING

    it's gonna be fire .

As long as "it's gonna be fire" doesn't mean gunplay. And make sure you don't take Nas because he's got that whole "extended clip" "murder the dj" thing going on.

On a side note, has anyone seen the movie Fanboy's? Its where a bunch of friends try to go steal a print of Star Wars Episode 1, so there dying friend can see it. I'm thinking maybe, if we get desperate enough or he pull's a Dr Dre detox move, we'd need to go liberate some of the tracks, along with the Bad Boys II songs. But then again there would be that whole 'First out the Limo' guy we'd have to deal with. Yeah maybe not, 'cause Drago would have kicked my ass, so I can only imagine.
